If you’re new to Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, you may well think that it is all a bit much when you first start looking into it, but all I can say is fear not; it is not as difficult as you think. All you need is my 11-step guide to publishing your Kindle eBook on Amazon.
Your 11-Step Guide to Kindle eBook Publishing
The trick is not to look at everything you need to do in one go. Take everything step-by-step and you will succeed where others have failed.
It’s also worth pointing out that Amazon wants you to publish your book. Although you do have to go through some hoops, it’s not in Amazon’s interest to make things too difficult for Kindle authors to self-publish their eBooks.
The Four Major Milestones
When you get started, all you need to do is enter your name, payment information, and tax information to set up your KDP account.
Next, you need to enter information about your book, such as the title, the author of the book, which doesn’t need to be your name, and a description of your book to help people find your book.
Content and Cover
Now you need to convert your content into a format that is acceptable for Amazon. For that, the best thing to use is the Kindle Creator. You’ll also need an eBook cover that makes your eBook stand out from the crowd.
Pricing and Rights
Finally, you have to decide where you’re going to publish your work of art and how much you want to charge for it.
Over the next few months, I am going to add to this Kindle eBook Publishing masterclass which will show you exactly how to do everything.
However, if you want to kickstart your publishing empire, you might want to consider splashing out some cash for K Money Mastery. It is excellent value for money and a great way to turbocharge your laptop lifestyle.
Wrapping It All Up
And that’s it. Yes, you can pick yourself up off the floor. I know this is a very short article but all the good stuff in this publishing your Kindle eBook on Amazon is coming later. If you have found this before I have finished everything, you better go here.
It’s Amazon’s own training. It’s rather complex but better than nothing. Or you can still check out K Money Mastery if you’d prefer.
